It is everything I wanted from a perfume. Exceeds my enever use a “traditional” fragrance again!
EAU DE PROTECTION
The opening is bright - very bright. Kleig-light bright. I acquired this in a swap a few years back, and, while intrigued with the scent and the notes, and 100% loving the Rossy de Palma connection, it soon went to the back of the cupboard because of its somewhat brassy opening notes. About a month ago, for a reason that I cannot now recall, I took it out and tried it again. It was when I got whiffs of the dry down - the nicest, warm, dry, cocoa-patchouli snuggle, that I really fell in love. I have been wearing it so frequently lately I had to order another bottle - 100mls this time. Now I fully appreciate all the stages, from the "wake me up!" opening with its bright and rasping bergamot and ginger, all the way through to one of the best dry-down in all of perfumery.. Another masterpiece from ELDO.
I’m no perfume expert but remarkable people is one one the nicest I’ve worn- it only gets better with time as the heart and base notes come out. I’ve found it lasts quite a while on me and I can still smell it but I’ve not timed it
RP is a beautiful scent, fresh and clean with a citrusy edge. Sadly, I find it’s longevity disappointing, with the need to refresh/reapply every few hours as you would a cologne. That said, upon application it is positively commented on by many people.
The top notes hit hard and you'll be smelling it for a good 45mins. Then the dry-down begins and Rien settles down to a much nicer fragrance (not that the initial fragrance is bad but to some it may be overbearing). Longevity and sillage are both very good. I still smell it after a twelve hour shift. More of a colder weather scent; although in England, you'd get away with wearing it all year round with the exception of about two weeks in the 'summer'.
